Timothy Clayton, (born December 20, 1976 in Birmingham, Alabama), better known by his stage name Attitude, is an American rapper and record producer.

Attitude became an overnight success once he co-penned the biggest hit of the decade as the key writer for Nelly Furtado & Timbaland’s ‘Promiscuous’ single, in 2006.which would go on to become Grammy nominated .

Attitude is one of the few rap artists from Alabama that coined a major-label deal in the mid to late 2000s. Debuting in 1996 with the funky, independent rap album Serious Times. His album was released on his Centa Street Records label, formed in part to ward off the lifestyle he was leading that kept landing him in jail.

His craft fueled him to become a local heavyweight in Birmingham’s developing hip-hop scene, but he had to look to Atlanta to obtain meaningful opportunities.

“God’s Timing” is an ode to the Artist vow to never give up on his creativity. The tracks God’s Timing, F**k ‘Em, and Step prove to be our favorites. The project comes alive with the conversational Interludes titled “Black Tony” adding a storytelling element.
