Philly native Ayo 215 is aiming for the top and bringing his audience into his world. Born to Dominican and Puerto Rican parents in Philadelphia,PA. Ayo 215’s sound is a fusion of his North Philly upbringing and Latin roots. His unique approach to music highlights his artistry — his usage of melodies that flows with a low key ambiance and laced with discreet message attracting an array of loyal fans.

With the blend of rap and his bilingual abilities Ayo 215 has tapped into crossover audiences. When he performed his breakout song “Back up off Me” at the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York almost everybody in attendance knew the lyrics word for word. Ayo 215 closed out 2018 with a bang by signing with major player Roc Nation. The first release through the record company will be a new version of the single “Bother You” featuring Lil’ Baby, known for hit single “Yes Indeed” feat. Grammy award-winning artist Drake.

His songs typically cover like reaching aspirational goals, grinding, and often relationships be they platonic, romantic, or even between foes. Some may say the vibe is similar to that of Lil Uzi Vert or Fetty Wap, and his single “Savage” is a prime example of the power he can harness. Ayo 215 often taps in raw emotions while creating, he lost his father while still a young child and his oldest brother is currently incarcerated, and in recent years his two brothers helped encourage him to leave the street life behind to focus on music.

The Philly native has performed in his hometown at the infamous venue the Fillmore, loves boxing, enjoys motorbike sports, and has a great sense of humor. Ayo 215 likes to surround himself with positive people because over the years he’s become very leery of crowd based on his tumultuous past including a stint in juvenile detention.
