The Dynamic talent known as Arcade Droyd can not be stopped. The 27 year-old DMV-bred emcee. born in Long Beach California. Arcade Droyd is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and engineer.

His stage name is the namesake of a fictional character he created from anime called Arcadia.

Arcade is super talented self taught musician who plays over 6 different instruments. He has been working behind the scenes as a hot bubbling producer/engineer for some time now. In 2017, Arcade finally broke out of his shell and drove in to a solo career with his viral EDM single “Show Le Love”. This ultimately lead to Arcade Droyd becoming one of the hottest young talents in the Washington D.C area.

Performing with acts such as Wale, ASAP Mob, Fat Trel, XIB, Big Flock, Mikey Polo, Lil Key, Deetranda, Young Moose, Lil Scoota and Phil Ade just to name a few.

Tell us about your latest project “Sorry for the Technical Difficultues” and what was the inspiration behind it?

• When I made “Sorry for the Technical Difficulties” I was in very low place. I was running in to self inflected road blocks on my Album “Good Days Forever” cause my depression set in and derailed the project. I was battling depression. I was really struggling to focus on anything. Didn’t care about much. It was a 3 month period where I stayed in the bed for hours. My days were filled with stress, intrusive thoughts, and contemplation of suicide. So much so I actually tried to take my own life. I’ve been battling depression for majority of my life but the creation of “Sorry for the Technical Difficulties” helped me start talking about my issue more. It also gave a fresh creative outlook on my next album “Good Days Forever”. It help me understand my true purpose as an artist.

We understand you recently moved to another state. What other moves are you making that we can be on the lookout for?

I been quietly working on my metaverse called “Arcadia”. It’s something I’ve been working for quite some time now. But it probably won’t be ready until my “Good Days Forever” Album is released. The Good Days Forever Album is maybe my top favorite project I ever worked on.

What do you love most about the creating process of music?

The “process” is the thing I love the most. The ability to experiment highly addictive. The possibilities are endless, there is no greater feeling than know you have the ability to create whatever the f**k you want.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Play video games or watch movies.
