Tell us what was it like growing up in the Oakcliff neighborhood of Dallas, Texas?

I was Born in North Dallas, I moved to Oakcliff when I was 8 years old. Growing up was challenging our house was broken into 3 times! But no matter what I was determined to have a childhood! I even caught the Dart bus every day to make sure I made it to school. I played all the sports including golf. I’ve always been the funny guy , I would make jokes and post it on instagram.

How and Why did you decide to become a Rapper?

I joined the military at 17. Shortly after joining the military, I began experiencing some legal troubles. Then, I was also about to have my first child. So at 20 yrs old I just decided to start rapping as a way to express myself. I told my brother and he cheered me on every step of the way! Kody (my producer) helped me to record myself and we work together until this very day.

To date what have been your most memorable moments in your journey as a Rapper?

Looking back on it , I was very excited when my first project had 15,000 streams on SoundCloud without promotion . That was the defining moment when I decided to keep going.

After the military, I made my first $6,000 and I decided to take rapping even more seriously. I dropped My biggest song “Go Diego” and received rave reviews! I had my first paid show in Athens, Ohio alongside Lil Keed. Lil Keed passed away right after that , rest in peace to Keed. Since then I have recorded with Lil Flip, OG Bobby Billions and Moonewalker.

What’s Next for you?

Well currently, I just released two projects back to back . I’m also working on a project with Moonewalker. Expect to see me broaden my horizons in the near future!
