Today Faye serves as a multi-state cannabis operator, educator and consultant offering safe, quality-driven, and efficacious products and services, with community first and business-centric engagement.

Hi Faye, we’re excited to connect with you Today. While we’re delighted to converse , we also understand your time is valuable. So let’s cut straight to the chase.

You’ve evolved soo much throughout your lifetime. Tell us more about how you would define “what you do”.

I’m excited to have this conversation as well. I have truly experienced life in so many ways from my beginnings in Pittsburgh! I really would describe myself currently as a Socially Conscious and Committed Entrepreneur.

Wow, Love it! Tell us How and Why did you decide to start Pure Genesis, LLC ?

Well first, outside of Pure Genesis I’m an advocate for drug prevention and incarceration throughout the Northeast. Pure Genesis, Headquartered in New Jersey, serves as a vehicle to show my dedication to access ,advocacy and education surrounding cannabis.

That’s truly AMAZING, especially in a space soo male-dominated. Tell us more about your path to get there.

My late mother was a cancer survivor and I truly believe cannabis would have aided her during that time. I began being interested in alternative medicine from then on.

What was your first big break Or “aha moment “?

Actually, I don’t believe in big breaks. I was the first African American Woman to graduate from the School of Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University. I then, earned my Master’s in Business Administration from Saint Joseph’s University and Executive Education certifications in supply chain management and product development from The Harvard Business School. I worked diligently to be an example for my children. However in 2018, I thought about winning for me!!!

Congratulations on your accomplishments. Definitely feeling the passion through the phone. Do you love what you do? Tell us why.

I’m a visionary. I love doing something that has never been done. Soo… I thought about, How can I Introduce something that is fun, tastes good and allow it to be good for you. From there Pure Genesis developed “Genesis Infused”, the World’s FIRST CBD Infused Wine Cooler! Once ‘Genesis Infused” was developed we knew bringing on Nicole Tiovanni of 1925 Consulting as a Master Strategist would be a critical part to our success. To answer the question…YES, I love it.

What are some tips you would give to others looking to take a similar path ?

Be FULLY prepared to have your commitment tested. The hustle is REAL! As a Leader you must understand your role in being responsible for growth and direction. My goal is to make the best decisions. The tips I have to offer are:

-Find a Partner to share your challenges.

-Take some time and think about yourself.

-Be intentional about your purpose.

-Network, Network, Network.

Thanks for being so transparent and Down to Earth with us Today. What can the world expect from Faye in the future ?

Well I’m thinking of Writing a book, currently partnering with Historically Black Colleges and Universities while making major strides in the Health and Medical arenas. Stay Tuned.

This has truly been pleasurable speaking with you Today. If possible …What are 3 words that describe Faye ?

First, I want to say I am more than just a Woman. I am more than just Black. I am American-made. I don’t feel like only three words describe me. However, I am a Visionary, Mentor, Driven, Passionate and Dedicated!
